Default Replacing a speed sensor

When you replace a speed sensor, can you just replace the magnet or do you have to replace the whole thing?

I think unless the magnet is cracked, split or broken physically you just need to replace the speed sensor.

I replaced the speed sensor and the MCOR and still go 7 mph with the speed code 4. Any ideas?

Check your magnet, it may need to be replaced too...
