Ya know, mine was warped as well, but I tool the whole filter cannestor out of the car and assembeled it on the work bench. It went back into shape just being assembeled correctly.

I love that front bumper I hope you don't mind me stealing it. And I'm glad I ran across this thread. I lifted my cart and the air box didn't quite fit right so I've been running it with just the top with the air filter connected to it out in the open. It won't run past 1/2 throttle unless you are on the choke. I figured it was cause of the new air flow but I had no idea how important it was on these. I did order the performance jet from CPP. But it looks like when it goes into the garage for that I'll be fitting the air box back on.

I acualy had to cut a big notch in the bottom of my air box to get it to fit around the crossmember. I didn't hurt the performance though.

I have a ? I have a G9 and my issue is the line that gos from engine to the air cleaner box. why is it when the cart gets warm it spits oil in the air box. I was told to plug it off so I did and now that I did that it popped off my oil cap. Is there something else I can do or is this normal for the oil to go in there on this style of cart.

Lump, to start with, Make sure there is only one quart of oil in the motor. Anymore, and it will do just what your experiencing. You may, like "Bokey" said, have to much "blow by".

Other people have put a plastic gas filter on the end of the hose, and got by with that, but it leaks a bit of oil from that gas filter when set up that way.

On the springs you put on your cart does it matter what size lift kit you have on.
cause mine has a 6" lift. didn't know what you had on yours cause mine could use some stiffer shocks thats for sure. tried putting my trailer on and it didn't do so well.

No it shouldn't, if you order those McMasters. Talk to G1-G9. He has built alot of G9's and knows quite abit about G9 suspensions. He can be found easily in "The G8 Club" thread. Dlcain, is another.
