sand tires?
Has anyone ever used AMS Zipper tires in the sand and if so how well do the work?

I assume you have a v-twin. The Zippers would probably do ok. But if your looking to buy sand tires go ahead and get some paddles. They work 100% better than anything else, especially climbing dunes. Also, if your going all out get some ribs for the front.

Like Frank said, paddles and ribbed fronts help out alot in the sand if you have the motor to turn them. Go with as light a combo of wheels and tires as you can. I have ran both the zippers and 8 paddle STU's and liked them both but there is nothing like seeing a golf-cart throwing a little roost!! (or alot of roost in Frank's case!!!)
