EZ-GO model XI 875
I recently purchased a EZ-GO 875 cargo carrier from Boeing surplus. By the manufacturing number (GO291) I believe is is a 1991 model. It came with questionable batteries, no charger and no throttle box assembly.
The battery problem is self evident and I have purchased a couple of used Lester chargers which I have yet to test. My car and the chargers both appear to have female plugs but my more immediate problem is the throttle bit. I have searched high and low on the net and cannot find the assembly I need. I believe what I need is a Pedal Box Assembly, part #600476. I have found several things that have just added to my confusion. Such as, is this assembly the same as a potentiometer? Or does it only contain a Inductive Throttle Sensor and a micro switch or are all these things part of the same thing? As you can see from my questions, I know nearly nothing and can use all the help I can get. Many thanks, allen2 |

Re: EZ-GO model XI 875
Can't speak to that particular model, but I'm guessing by year model that it utilizes a potentiometer. Probably a Curtis PB-6. Just a guess tho'. Does this cart have a controller?

OK then. I'm betting on the Curtis pot.

Any idea where I can get a hold of one? I need the whole assembly, box, linkage and all.

Re: EZ-GO model XI 875
Thanks for the help pg. I guess just asking my question helped me clear up some of my confusion. It is now clear that it is not a pedal box assembly I need but, as you pointed out, a potentiometer. I have one on order and am anxious to get it installed. Now, on to testing those chargers.
