Default CUSHMAN Shuttle 8 lithium conversion goes wrong

Hi all,
I manage several Ezgo and Cushman day to day.
I did jump into lithium conversion for 48V carts successfully without any changes with controller settings and I tried it again with a Cushman Shuttle 72V cart using a 32S LifePO4 100Ah battery.
Unfortunatly I experience now very poor power demand and the cart doesn't accelerate properly. The amps meter shows a very low power demand increasing slowly from 0 to 12/15 amps withing 5/6 seconds only when full throttle and thats provide a very poor torque to the cart motor. The battery voltage remains around 79/80V during testing.
I am thinking about controller settings to fit Lithium while a similar battery on a e-mule type vehicule, easily and dangerously reach up to 300 amps !
The cart was running properly with lead acid batteries before conversion.
Any Idea?
cheers
Emmanuel

What battery did you use? Also, what do you mean by 32S battery? A 72v LiFePO4 battery should be 24S, not 32S. 32S is 96v nominal with a charge voltage of around 114v (116.8v max)

You'll probably get better advice posting in the ezgo section, but if you changed the battery pack to something other than 72v, you will need to change nominal voltage settings in the motor controller, possibly contactor pwm rates as well.
