Default 99 club car ds 48v power issue

I have a 99 Club Car 48v. I am having problems going up hills with it. I have checked the batteries and have had around 45-48v present yet it sputters out and won't go up hill. It seems fine right after charging but once it get's around 45v it's a no go. Any help would be great.

OK, so if I'm reading it right, when I tested my voltage and got around 45v I was totally dead. When it was around 48v I was at 50-60 percent battery. This explains a lot. Thanks for the info and the quick reply.

Yes , a 48 Volt cart , when the pack is down to 48 Volts should be heading to the Charger.
Never discharge below 50%

Cool, thanks. I am new to the golf cart scene and will probably have a whole lot of questions. Thanks again for the help and quick reply.

Battery Maint is the most single important part of ownership and the most cost effective
part of ownership with a sparky.
Good well maintaned Batteries will last 5-6 years then spend another $600 + dollers.
30 cents a day (more or less)
