Rev. Limiter
I asked this question on the 4000 rpm thread but I figured I ask it. Is ther a way to adjust the rev. limterfor higher rpms? And if so does anyone know how to do it.

Re: Rev. Limiter
The rev limiter is not adjustable on the Club Car.
It can be removed but at your own risk to premature engine failure if you (or your kids or buddies) run the RPMs to high for any length of time. Some remove them and install a tach to monitor engine RPMs. |

Re: Rev. Limiter
I have installed a tach secondarly and considering the rev disconect. I understand about the engine stress if prolong over reving. The 4000 rpm thraed stated that some limiters were set at different levels thats why I was asking.

Re: Rev. Limiter
I've never spent that much time messing with them to even test for any difference.
Most everyone I know will adjust the gov to get the speed and leave it at that, but we're all old! er |
