Default floor mat and rivet question

Going to replace my flooring on my marathon and I'm just wondering if its worth it to buy a new floor piece or is it pretty easy to cut your own out of the type of material you like? Along with that where can I find the large flange plastic rivets that hold the floor mat down? Thanks for any suggestions and answers. I'm just looking to do this the cheapest way possible.

don't know about the floor, but an ezgo dealer like mmt (a sponsor) will have them. also lowes has a very nice selection of rivets and plastic trim hardware.

What material will you be using? I have been having a hard time finding something I like to replace the floor on my Marathon.

I dunno what I will be using just wonder if its worth doing on your own to save some cash or just buy a precut floor? I will keep my eye out at lowes for the rivets. But any other info is still welcome.

Lowes has a large carpet entry mat, Smooth rubber on one side / short carpet on the other. Use your old mat for a pattern. It doesn't get much cheaper than that.

Some folks have patched the floor and then used spray on bed liner which gives a nice anti slip finish

Thanks guys all very good ideas and will consider them all. When it comes to the plastic rivets, can you use a regular metal rivet gun to put them in with or is there a special tool for them? Thanks again!
