Speed control
2006 Ezgo 36 VDC, all of a sudden the golf cart reduced speed to about 2 to 3 miles an hour. the gas padal had no response. It will go forward and reverse but very slowly. I have removed the peal box to check it out..
How do I trouble shoot the pedal speed mechanism (electrically ) to see if is bad. I have a 3.25M ohms reading on the terminals. Does it require power? If so how much? |

Re: Speed control
Is the solenoid welded shut? They will go into creep mode.

Re: Speed control
The solenoid is working I can turn it off and on. The micro switch also ohmed out good. I am wodnering about how to check that ITS module that the bayonet goes thru to vary the speed.

Re: Speed control
Flipping the Run/Tow switch to Tow, waiting 30 Seconds and flipping back to run will rest the controller.
But if the problem that put it in the creep mode still exists, it'll just go back into the creep mode. Put the PDS controller into the Diagnostic mode and see if it gives any beep codes. Here is the label on the controller cover in an easier to read format. The text at the bottom of label tell you how to get into diagnostic mode. |
