1982 ez go 2 cycle gas golf cart carberator question

Just put on a new carberator on my 1982 ez go cart it runs but is much slower than before. Any suggestions on what maybe causing this?

Are the choke and throttle cables adjusted properly?The carb may be a replacement,but the linkages will still need some fine tuning,as well as the mixture settings,since every engine is a little different.Hope this helps.
