Default Where is the reverse horn located?

Before I just put it in reverse and start looking, I thought I would ask. My cart is used for hunting and I need to quiet this beep down. It is way too loud. Thx

The easiest way is to unplug the switched lead to the beeper at the forward reverse switch. Give us a little more information on year and model and I'm sure someone can point you to the correct wire.

Are you talking about an RXV mentioned in some of your other posts?
If so the the buzzer is on the passenger side under the plastic splash shield that covers the controller. Put some electrical tape or such over it to quiet it down.

DO NOT DISCONNECT IT. Cart won't run if you do. (RXV is unique in this regard I believe. Probably 2Five also.)

edit: owners guide page 27 has instructions on how to remove plastic shield. owners guide is available online

Hey Kernal you have a link to the owners manual you speak of. I searched and could not find the one with the info on page 27

Only the part about removing the splash shield is important to you. Sometimes the shields are just sitting in place and not attached.

"To access the instructions remove three re-usable plastic rivets securing the controller splash shield to the body and the controller. To remove the re-usable rivets, press the center of the rivet with the vehicle key. When the center pin snaps into place the rivet can be removed. Repeat the process for each remaining rivet. Turn the splash shield over to reveal the instructions for releas-ing the parking brake"
