'84 ezgo rear axle ?
When I bought the cart I noticed the one rear axle nut was loose to I torqued it to 90ft. Lbs. and after a few miles I noticed it is loose again what holds the rear axle in so I have an idea of what to look at being worn.

Re: '84 ezgo rear axle ?
You do have the cotter pin in ... right? C clips retain the bearing on the axle .... Go for bearings, Seals and new C clips

Re: '84 ezgo rear axle ?
When you jack the cart up and remove the tire, does the axle move in and out when you pull and push on it? No? Make sure the brakes are not holding the drum.......

The brakes aren't dragging, will have to check on the axle movement tomorrow going to disassemble then.
