how much oil needed in electric 97 EZGO
I figured out how to replace O'Ring after taking motor out. One in there was in pretty good shape, but I replaced it anyway. I was told to remove drain plug to add a tiny bit of non-detergent 30 weight oil for what may have been lost because of small amount of leakage. I didn't expect about 1/4 cup of oil to come out. Now I'm afraid too much came out.
Other than removing motor again and going in through opening where i replaced the O'Ring, is there another way to add oil? Would jacking up right side of cart and add some where drain plug is work? Thanks. |

Service procedure says drop the pan, clean, refill to plug hole, and replace. I fill slightly above the plug and I use an oz of STP oil treatment to keep the upper gears coated even when it sits. RTV gasket is all you need.
