That motor is a SERIES motor.....you can tell because of the markings for the post. A1-A2 and S1-S2 are SERIES.

as far as the splines go, although he said its off of a '08, its actually a '06 motor, at least that is when it was made. that particular motor was made for and used in all series drives from 1988 to present.

the spline should be the same.....as its a DIRECT replacement motor.

Is 200 a fair price for this motor?

Just remember.....anytime you are buying used electrical/electronics', it's a gamble. the pictures you posted look pretty good, as all the markings are there and it doesn't look abused, that we can see. and you won't know until you fire it up for the first time. Since the Rotor isn't supported on one end without installing it in the differential. One thing I would do is inspect is closely, clean off the posts, and it wouldn't hurt to look at the brushes. Is there a lot of dust inside the motor? like carbon dust? use some compressed air and blow it out real good.

a NEW one just like it is in the neighborhood of $600 to $650, depending where you buy it.

Used series motor isn't worth more then $100.

You can have yours sent to PQ and rebuilt better then new for $200.

Plus its a slow "fleet speed" motor, 12-14mph on 36v. I would pass @ $200.
