I have a '95 ezgo (dcs) 36v cart with an alltrax controller. when I push the throttle it starts to move then stops. I notice that the controller shows a code indicating battery undercurrent shutdown. but I have 37v on v meter. I guess my question is can the main contact on the solenoid be breaking down under a load? would it be safe to jump the main lugs on the solenoid to check? 2 hrs later: I put a jumper on the two main lugs and the cart would operate so I changed out the solenoid. seems like the problem was the solenoid.

Re: rmac
I killed two stock solenoids by hauling around three passengers for long run times. It's not really designed for long periods of heavy loads.
