It looks okay from what I can see, but can't see plugs.

The LED isn't lighting, so let's start form scratch (Disconnect all the wires and cables) and plug a Laptop into the controller via a USB cable. (I'm not sure if you have to run the toolkit program or not. IIRC, the XCT powers up when the USB is connected, but I'll have to check to be sure.)

If the Status LED does not light up when controller is powered via the USB from the laptop, the controller is probably dead and it is time to contact Alltrax and/or Scotty.

SPM & XCT will power up from usb alone (if the controller is good). But this alone does not diag a bad controller (could connect, but still be failed?). I have yet to see a failed SPM or XCT, so further than that i cannot say 100% how they act when failed.

What type of cable does it take? Not sure if I have the capability to do that or not.

Just a standard usb "type a to type b" just like used for printers & stuff. Nothing special at all, available cheap at wallyworld.

The Stat light is blinking 4 times. I'm guessing that's a good thing being that it's green.

Could the whole problem be that I'm keeping it 36v for now?

Now it troubleshoots about the same as a PDS controller.

Without the computer attached, and without a charger being attached to cart, and the cart controls set for driving forward except for pedal being pushed, verify you have full pack voltage on the following Pins.

C1 Pins 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9.
C3 Pins 1, 2, 3 & 4.

Let us know which one or ones are missing or low.

Also verify all four plugs are fully seated. (They are a PITA to get fully seated - That is why my XCT wouldn't power up when I first installed it ---- and I'm pretty good at plugging in plugs. )

No, I don't think so.
Even if the Under Volt slider was set too high for a 36V system, the controller ought to power up on 36V and give you an error code.

The solenoid might not work on 36V if it is a 48V solenoid, but that won't stop the XCT from powering up. (The super-duty (400A) solenoid works from 36V to 48V, but I'm not sure in the 200A you have will or not)
