Hopefully he has a charger that fully charges US Battery batteries, otherwise he won't be getting the maximum run-time or lifespan.

The 250HC XC is a 280AH battery, so his range (run-time) ought to be about 24% greater than the standard 225AH 36V pack and the life expectancy ought to be roughly 36% longer unless his average daily mileage has increased.

FWIW: Since the battery tray had to be modified, six US12V XC (12V 155AH) batteries connected in series/parallel would have formed a 310AH 36V pack with 38% greater run-time and 50% longer life expectancy than the standard 36V 225AH pack. And it might have cost less.
