Probably, and it's worth the effort to try and save $60 or so.

That's my plan, clean all the break parts, and spray some dry lube down the cables and on the slides of the calipers. Hopefully I'll get around to that tonight. I'll report the results

Way back in the day they use to make a cable lube attachment that you could tighten on your cable, put the lube tube into the attachment hole, then just (from a lube airesol can) just squirt it until the lube came out the other end of the cable. I honestly don't know if they make these anymore. Maybe Google would be your friend?

They sell them at the motorcycle shops and have different sizes for throttle or clutch cables. Saves a lot of hassle and lube since it doesn't spray all over the place

Who would have thought they would call it "cable luber"!!! The only thing it does is lube a cable. You would think they would call it "Wound metal strand wire surrounded by flexible tubing oil insert device". That way you could never find it via Google.

I tried it on my 96 TXT, drivers side came out ok but the left side was still sticky.
So down to the local dealer and spent almost $500.00 bucks, found an older western cart that I bought, got it for $400.00. I think it's an 87 and it has been upgraded to 42v and an alltrax controller, batts may be bad the water was way below the plates, charging them 2 at a time will find out more tomorrow
