Default 2002 CC with Alltrax DCX 500 fails to slow

The cart SN is AQ0224-155876 and has a D&D Motor. It will run OK for a few minutes then fail to barely able to move. The alltrax has a harness converter board to fit the cart harness. The batteries are good and the charger works. I used my controller pro software and the controller is set right but the throttle position will go from 100 to 13 %. I replaced the MCOR and it ran about 15 minutes normally and then went to hardly moving and no power. So far I can't find a harness issue. I don't believe the Alltrax uses a speed sensor all though the motor has one. Help!

The throttle should go from 0% to 100%. Check setting and make sure Club Car 5k to 0 is selected. Is this a new install or has it been working? Don't forget to click SET afterwards. Some of these carts have resistors soldered inline. You might have to do a search to see if yours is one of them. And no it doesn't use the speed sensor but you can plug it in anyway.

Those converter boards had some issues late in production. Call Alltrax tech support and ask about the possibility of a converter board failure.

The controller is set on CC 5K-0 3 wire on throttle. I measured it at the alltrax board on cart harness and it is getting the correct readings yet the controller pin side of the board are not. I will check on board from Alltrax- thanks

Just for grins I would be tempted to try the 0-5k setting to see if something is wired backwards.
