Terminal cleaner

I have purchased some battery terminal spray cleaner from the auto parts store. Does this stuff really work? The instructions say to spray on and then wash off? It is CRC battery cleaner.

I also see they have a battery protector spray.

What should I spray or put on a new set of batteries to keep the cruds away?

use cleaner to clean battery terminal
use protector spray to cover terminal for protection .. even new batteries
i use them with great results
