just got my new xct 400 dcs controller from carts unlimited and need some help

I have 37.83 at the pack and 37.24 between b+ and b- on the controller

Does the solenoid make a clicking sound when the pedal is pushed?

If so, disconnect the heavy cable(s) on the controller side of the solenoid.
Then measure from B- on controller to the now empty large stud on the controller.

Should be 0V before solenoid clicks and 38.73V (Or very close to it) after the solenoid clicks.

I'm getting only 16 .16 volts to the empty stud

Okay, there is a problem between main positive terminal on the battery pack and the controller side stud on the solenoid. (Bad solenoid contacts, bad cable, bad fuse)

What is the voltage on the solenoid's battery side stud? (Should be same as the voltage on the main positive terminal of the battery pack.)
