Default Vibrating Front end after installing lift kit and tires

Just installed a Jake's 6 inch spindle lift kit with 23x10.5x12 tires this weekend on my 2010 RXV. Now, the steering wheel and front end vibrate while driving and especially when braking. Any tips? I know that I need to toe in the front tires which I have not done but I would not think that would cause that much vibration. Thanks

Align the front end. That won't help but probably is not the problem. Knobby tires will vibrate more than course tires or street tires. Maybe you have a tire out of round or buldged?

The tires came mounted on rims. Should I take the tire to local tire place and get them to remount? I figured the all terrain tires would be louder but this is a serious vibration that shakes the entire cart.

Put the jack back under that sucker and get the front end up in the air. Then use your hand to slowly free-spin the tires. Check to see if there is evidence of the tire being out-of-round or unbalanced. This will either rule out two common sources of vibration, or point you at your problem.

Good luck!

Thanks. If the tire is out of round should I take it back to the place I bought it?

Sometimes it's caused by bolting the wheel on improperly. You can try unbolting and torqueing it carefully with the correct torque pattern.
