Hi Henri That is a solid recommendation from a knowledgeable source. Order the XCT400PDS and fan kit, item # 2 and 4 here > http://www.cartsunlimited.net/alltra...-controls.html And the MZJ400 here > http://www.cartsunlimited.net/solenoids.html Everything above is in stock and ready to ship Thanks for asking |

Re: Upgrading my EZ-GO -
I provide the XCT400PDS with the mounting bracket and solenoid bracket for the lowest price on the internet. I include the ring & spade terminals and regen diode along with the fuse mount bolt and nut needed. This is additional hardware you will not get if you pay more elsewhere.
Every solenoid we sell (including the super multi-voltage MZJ400 solenoid) includes the resistor and diode. So there is no additional items to buy... and still we sell the solenoids for less than anyone else. As far as what is needed to go from 36 to 42 or 48v when using the XCT control and 400MZJ no changes to the control or solenoid are needed. You simply put 42 or 48v worth of batteries in the cart and plug in the charger of same upgraded voltage. The controller makes the adjustment for the proper precharge based upon the input voltage. I have had very good results with PDS carts running the stock motor on 42v. Simply add a 7th 6v battery in the open space under the driver's seat and plug in a 42v DPI charger I hope this helps |

Re: Upgrading my EZ-GO -
HOORAHHHHH
The XCT400PDS install went without a hitch!!!! And no parts leftover..... Pictures are forthcoming!!!!! Still have some wire dressing issues, but that can be easily remedied. I may replace the mounting bracket (the blue thing) with a 1/2" plate that has a hinge on the top, so the whole unit can pivot up from the bottom for much easier access. Wish that the 'status' led could be remoted to the dash - be much easier to see.... took it out for a trial spin - WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!! Now, who has some ideas for me, the newbie, on updating whatever default settings that are now in there, to something I should consider???? The throttle right now is far more sensitive than it was. a light touch, and its going..... like to slow that down a bit... All ideas and suggestions are welcomed.....
