Is/has the "terminal" at the end of the Grey wire from the charge port been affected by corrosion? The Grey wire is actually 2 wires inside, and the little black box at the end is a temp sensor. The charger does not like voltage leaks into the temp sensor. If this is the case, new temp sensors are available.

That makes perfect sense cgtech. One red flash = Battery Temperature Fault.

That appears to have been the issue. I took those all off and cleaned them off some more. Started charging again! Thank you so much!

Here is a pic of that battery terminal. There are quite a few wires coming off it. Do you think that is part of the problem? One appears to be for the lights. There is one with the temp probe, and another one i don't know where it goes. Should I move something off of that terminal? The other teminals have nothing. This pic is pre cleaning.

This has happened again. Not charging and giving the same error lights. Should I just replace that sensor? Can it be faulty? If yes, does anyone have a part number?

Fullriver battery sellers them. Same used for all the Delta-Q chargers.

Code 1 is so rare, or a failed sensor- so rare also. You sure its a code 1?
code 3- code 6 are most common- followed by a code 2.

Yeah, its code 1. I cleaned the connections at the terminal where the temp sensor is again. Its back up and working again. None of the connections seemed dirty or had built up corrosion. I rubbed them with light sandpaper until they were shiny silver. I'm going to get some anti corrosion battery spray and see if that helps any. Finding that the RXV seems to be more sensitive than I care for.

try removing the temp sensor wire from batt post.

just take nut off post and remove terminal with grey wire and black box.

then re-install batt nut.

grey wire is temp sensor and does not need to be connected to test.

also -- loose/bad connection can heat up causing temp sensor to send over temp signal to charger.

drive cart and check for hot post or wire.

thx for the suggestions. I will check tonight. Is the loose wire causing heat still an issue if it still doesn't charge after sitting there overnight or for days?
