Re: Looking for the brightest underbody LED's
I miss my neons. I installed two, and they looked a lot like your blue LEDs.
Need to add another switch to my dash. |

Re: Looking for the brightest underbody LED's
A friend of mine installed boogey lights on his golf cart and his camper they are the brightest LED's I have ever seen. They are very pricey though.

That's if you have money to burn. For $80 you will get more than enough light with OPT7

Re: Looking for the brightest underbody LED's
Well it turns out that I'm pretty much a dumbass. I was installing a new dash with stereo today and noticed that I have the positive for the voltage reducer on the 3rd battery and the negative on the last battery. It's amazing how much better it works when you go from the first battery for the positive. LOL. Now that the voltage reducer is working like it was designed to, everything is MUCH better. The dash install though? That's a different story.

Thanks for telling us. I think sometimes when that kind of thing happens the thread just dies.

Here's mine. Not LEDs, but old school neon. I got six.

Re: Looking for the brightest underbody LED's
I used the XK Glow kit and it's plenty bright. I only used about half the strips that came with the kit. Not the cheapest set out there, but I'm really pleased with it. Here is a link to the set I bought:

Re: Looking for the brightest underbody LED's
BigD- which expansion kit did you get and did you use all of the strips? Your buggy looks awesome and is similar to what I am looking for. Thanks for that heads up!
