Re: FNR switch / potentiometer
scottyb where my #4 micro switch is there are only 2 plug ins, the top one has red wire to backup alarm, that's why I questioned position of pot wires that plug in, because wouldn't one side be hot since there is a red wire going to backup alarm? In previous post you posted didn't matter where wires went ( which my old pot switch had black and white wires and the new one I ordered had blue and brown, I contacted supplier they couldn't or wouldn't tell me anything per liability I was told, which I thought was silly) just trying to make sure I don't fry new switches.

New forward reverse #4 micro switch has two plug ins, old micro switch which is not double has 4 screws , 2 for pot switch, 2 for red wire on backup alarm, and one for white wire going to plus side of battery as shown on diagram last battery in series.

Re: FNR switch / potentiometer
The FNR switch I bought was for ezgo 1986.5 to 1993, which my cart is 1993 marathon.

Re: FNR switch / potentiometer
Yes did figure it out new FNR switch I purchased was for a resistor cart, what I needed was per your diagram with a Controller. I am learning just because carts are same year an model doesn't mean parts will interchange. Resistor cart micro switches and controller cart micro switches re different, thanks for the help.
