1994 EZGO txt runs on charger only

My cart will run full speed while plugged in the charger but will barely move without. The batteries are all over 6 volts, 6.3 or higher, but one is 6.1 something. It was running fine but quit suddenly after a long run, but didn't let on it was almost out. The solenoid clicks and seems to test out on multimeter. The batteries probably need to be replaced but not sure that's the full problem, and don't have the cash right now for a new set.

If it runs with the charger connected, but not otherwise, the batteries are my number one suspect. Try testing the lowest battery under load of cart. I know you don't want to hear "batteries", but that's where signs point. You could locate the worst battery & replace it with a used battery till you can buy a set.

Kind of what I was thinking. Thanks for the reply! I would think if the solenoid works on charger then that should be good. I'll try to get a used battery for the one that appears bad or wait and buy a set. Thand again!
