charger rewiring
Wondering if I've made a mistake... I've purchased a 36volt charger that is coming with the wrong plug type. I have 2 bad ezgo chargers so I'm planning on replacing the plug. The charger I ordered has 2 wires and my ezgo plug takes 3. My understand is that the 3rd wire is the status wire... that correct? The new charger says it moniters the battery pack as it charges so can I simply leave off the third wire? Is there a different way to wire the plug or will I be sending this charger back?
