I Know it will handle 3 cases of 12 gauge shotgun shells and a range bag with no problem.

Yeah that front basket is the best utility value....between the front basket and the fold down rear seat, there isn't much to need!

For a pull behind, light trailer or cart this is what I use:

I found it for cheap on Craigslist. It's very light, won't rust due to the poly body and able to handle more than you'd probably throw in it.

I use this hitch that utilizes a ball or a drop pin for attachment:

EDIT: If green isn't your color, you can find the same exact same cart made by Binley or Agri-fab in black. Mine was cheap, so the green doesn't bother me even though I don't own anything John Deere.
