Rear axle problem
Hey guys I've read the rear axle repair sticky very informative, but I have a little different situation. The cart stopped with motor running so I pulled driver side rear wheel and axle slid out with drum/hub. Snap ring had one ear missing. Bearing has failed and shaft seal is failed. Now I have bearing cup on shaft and race/seal in axle tube. Splined ends of shaft are still good, i reinserted into diff and seemed fine. What's the best way to get junk out of tube? The thing never made a noise. Haven't looked at other side yet.

Re: Rear axle problem
The old bearing carcass is stuck in the tube with the seal behind it. Thought there might be some trick to get it out. Not having luck trying to pry it out

Re: Rear axle problem
with the axel OUT...get yourself a wooden broom handle and use it like a punch and push it back into the differential. obviously you will be cleaning it out anyway so take the pan off and there it is.
