Re: Cc precedent - 4-12v vs 6-8v battery range shootout!
I got a question guys wondering if you have an opinion.
Option A: I can get 6x8v interstates from local Costco for $636, but then assume about $200 for a couple 4ga leads and a galvanized battery tray and tie downs from dealer, so total $836. Would also need a cheap inverter to get lights on 12v OR Option B: I can just get 4x t1275s for $840 and do a direct swap from local dealer and be done quicker. We don't drive much and rarely go over 3 miles a day. 2012 rxv stock 48v, but aftermarket oversized tires. Opinions?? |

Re: Cc precedent - 4-12v vs 6-8v battery range shootout!
Please, I have been running 4/12's for years and years in 3 carts and never ever had a range issue. I have gone 10 miles with ease, stick with your OEM set-up unless you need the small difference you will get with 6/8's.
