Default Precedent Stock Seat Covers / Wet Foam - Removal

I've seen many videos on aftermarket seat cover installations over top of the old covers but I'm wondering how to go about removing the stock seat cover. The previous owner of my cart left it out in the weather and water found its way into the one hole on the seam off on the side. I'd like to remove the cover so I can let the foam dry our a bit before I attempt any kind of recovering. Any ideas?

I replace my seat cover , with a thin blade screw driver and a pair of pliers I pull out every staple .

In my case I don't even see staples. The vinyl just kinda disappears into the plastic seat base. I don't see anything holding the plastic seat base to the covered foam - unless its the same torx screws that hold the armrests holding the whole thing together? Gonna try that once I try and solve my light issue

They are glued on.

Dangit, I guess pulling that apart would make a worse mess of it.

Yep, the new covers go over everything and get stapled to the rear of the plastic backrest
