TPS MCOR4 ALLTRAX Question
I've searched and searched, but I can't seem to nail down a definitive answer, so I'm asking here. I have a 2009 Club Car Precedent PD Excel cart. It seems to have originally had the TPS, but now has the TPS adapter, going to the MCOR2->MCOR4 conversion kit, going to the MCOR4.
I just installed the Alltrax XCT48500-IQ. I read in a few places here on the forums that the TPS adapter is no longer needed with the Alltrax and I can bypass these as the resistors in the adapter are no longer needed. Is this correct? Can I just wire directly from before the TPS adapter right to the connectors going into the MCOR4? Do I just color match? Other than cleanup, is there any advantage to this? Does anything need to be changed in the Alltrax settings? |

Re: TPS MCOR4 ALLTRAX Question
You got it, just match the colors.
There is no advantage to remove that connector/adapter if the resistors inside are not causing problems. After You remove it, You may want to go inside the Alltrax software and click the Clear throttle Calibration values. |
