Regen Settings - What are they?

Can someone explain in simple terms what the three regen settings are and how they effect the cart? Second part, what do you typically have your settings at and why?

I hate the regen braking so my settings are:
Max Regen Armature=0
Max Regen Battery Amps=0
Plug Braking Current=200

Regen uses the motor when coasting to regenerate power to charge the battery. The downside is that the motor causes a drag and slows down the cart. You need the plug braking because if you ever start rolling backward in forward the throttle will be disabled until you stop.

Is Regen programmable in a standard cart, precedent excel system? Getting speed code 4 programmed in a couple of weeks, just wondering if I can get the regen shut off.

If you don't like the Regen brake, ask your dealer to disable both the "Pedal Up" brake and the "Excel" brake.
