so guys, i have been following a couple "mock" install threads and ive run into something confusing......is there a reason that these two photos show the diode flipped on the solenoid? i have a 48v series txt in case

Silver stripe should be towards the + . Can't zoom in enough in the first pic to tell it's orientation. 3rd pic is the resistor.....can't see the stripe on the diode either.

I guess I’m assuming that the person used the red crimp on the + side making the third pic opposite from pic number 2

There are some solenoids that are specific about which of the small lugs is + and which is -. It will be marked if it matters on yours. Just put the silver stripe on the diode on the side you put all of the + wires.

So down to tracking down 8 wires and i am done with the re-wire......
Orangeman6, your offer to help means alot. Ill get with you soon, but the MIL bought the kids a 1200.00 playset that has to be up my the holiday weekend, so once again the cart is on hold apparently.... I'll get with you soon and get some pics posted as well

Update: Orangemen6 - your help has been amazing, thanks so much.

Busy couple days receiving items.... the DEMON motor from plumb quick, new 5" angel eyes LED lights to replace the old stock st350 lights and new cables all arrived. will be a busy few days but excited to get back on it. I'll post picks soon.

so, im down to what I believe is three connections to have my cart wired. I have notated the three bolts in the photo.

My questions are....
1. Is the orange (blue actually I believe) as simple as splicing into the line shown?
2. what replaces the line from the charger to keyswitch if I have an onboard charger planned? where does power to the switch come from?
3. I have a final green wire coming from the reducer as well to the switch per the instructions.....how would you guys recommend tying in to the switch? I did upgrade to the keyswitch with 4 posts but do not fully understand how to wire them.

I will be so glad when wiring is done and I can go back to actually fab/ install lol

So, busy day. Got the LED lights retrofitted to the cowl, the dash put together and the new plum quick demon motor installed.
