Anywhere around ~$200 to $250 I would think. You can buy a new high performance MOT-A2 9.0hp for $450/$475 with warranty.

I tried selling a stock Bandit motor a while back. I got so tired answering questions about speed and torque that I just quit trying to sell it. Good luck but I don't think people want a stock motor. My 2¢ worth.

Interesting question. with quite possibly no real answer. Obviously there is a value, but that is based on having a willing seller, which is obvious. we also need a willing buyer. As Nole said previously something in the $200-$250 area would be reasonable, whereas you may find that there is no one who will pay that much for it, especially if some shipping costs are involved.

Personally, if I could get $150 for it I would be inclined to take the money and run. Anything over that would simply be a plus. Actually if I couldn't get a reasonable price for it, I would be inclined to keep it on the shelf, just in case.

As an afterthought, do companies like Plum Quick and D&D buy motors for their stock, and if so what do they offer for them? That might allow some guidance for what the resale market should be. Like others, simply my $.02 and worth every penny.

I have had that too. If you are willing to wait and box it up, e-Bay can usually hook someone over time that only wants their OEM motor and it sells....
