36v to 48v UPGRADE
I recently upgraded my TXT from 36v to 48v. I have 2 guage wires, heavy duty solenoid, heavy duty forward reverse switch and Alltrax SR48500 controller. My issue is speed. When I was at 36v I got 23 mph and now at 48v I'm still at 23 mph. I thought I would get a little more speed.
From what I can tell my setting are correct. When I did the upgrade I'm sure I put all the wired in the right spots. Could I possibly got something wrong in the wiring. I was told that I should be getting around 32 mph |

Re: 36v to 48v UPGRADE
Going from 36V to 48V should have upped the speed by about 30%, or from 23MPH to about 30MPH.
Did you go to 6 x 8V, or 8 x 6V? What is your tire height? What is the max inflation pressure stamped on the tires? Make any changes other than the pack voltage? |
