Ezgo L6 72 Volt Back up Alarm Disconnect
I have 2021 L6 72 volt. I was going to disconnect he back up alarm nut the dealer told me if i did this then it would fry something in the controller. Has anyone herd this or was the dealer BS'ing me.

If it is the AC drive they are 100% correct.. Controller looks for the buzzer on startup and if not there the cart won’t run. That said, tape works well or someone with the knowledge can turn it off or make it sound briefly when switched to R.
