Default Battery Meter Stays On

I washed my Bad Boy Buggie yesterday and now the battery meter stays on. It normally goes off when the key is turned off. The light does get brighter when the key is turned on. I tried drying all electronics and key switch with a hair dryer to no avail. Any ideas?

Unhook the battery pack and let it sit for a day and retry.
Try using a leaf blower if you don't have a compressed air source.
Focus on the electrical connections. water and electricity don't play nice together...

Does the meter turn off if you jiggle the key?

No. It’s now been on for 3 days after washing it.

You are going to have to take apart and inspect wiring, you have some electrical "bleed" between the meter and key switch. Shouldn't be hard to find.
