Re: Sepex motor
The answer is the same whatever you call it.
The Dana/Spicer rear axle assemblies used by EZGO from about 1988 to present have a 19 spline input shaft, so just about any motor that'll mate up with the mounting flange and fit between the transaxle (aka differential) and the rear shock will work. Of course the motor type will have to be compatible with the drive system (Controller, control wiring, etc.) installed in the cart. In a nutshell, any SepEx motor that will run in a PDS or TXT48 will also run in a DCS, so a wide variety of motors are available. Of course, the controller has to be compatible with the motor, but the stock DCS controller is a failed design and ought to be replaced with an aftermarket controller, such as an Alltrax XCT48400-DCS. |

Re: Sepex motor
Thank you! That makes things a little clearer, I have replaced the controller with a Alltrax XCT48400-DCS and hd solenoid. So now to search for the motor again. thanks
