2005 ez go will not move or buzz in reverse
I have a 2005 Ez go that will not buzz when put in reverse and will not move at all.
Brand new batteries buzzer is hooked up. checked key switch - works checked FNR push button - top bar has 38 in reverse, but nothing in F, middle has constant 38, bottom as 38 in F or R. Tow run works microswitch at pedal - works. Throttle sensor voltage does not change when pressing the gas pedal. solenoid has 38 on both big post and the small post both have .9v and when I put the pedal to the floor they both drop to .6v Any answers or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

On the fnr the green wire should have pack voltage in F. 0 in reverse. Orange wire should have pack voltage in R but 0 in forward. Try disconnecting the orange wire and try forward. Then reconnect the orange and disconnect green then try reverse. If those work replace the fnr switch

When checking pins and I get to the green with black stripe wire to back up buzzer it say I should have pack voltage. I only have 20v.

That wire will go to ground when activated. Attached is the diagram.

Would the ITS being bad not turn on your back up buzzer and cause solenoid not to click? The test for the ITS shows voltage not being pack voltage nor moving at all when pressing the gas pedal.

It will not.. here is another diagram.. should have pack voltage on all the red marked wires

I had problems with not moving...checked voltage at brake...OK...checked brake coil for ohms ..OK
I discovered the electric plug that goes into the brake wasn't making contact...I removed plug...pushed the female contact in the plug in a little....All OK now Couple of things to try...If it doesn't move...leave key in N....put run/tow switch to TOW...see if you can move cart by pushing..if not moving.. wiggle the plug |
