Default How to make my EZGO Express S4 go faster without a new motor.

Is there a way I can make my EZGO Express S4 go faster without adding a new motor or conversion kit? I believe it is a 2016. Perhaps with a chip or a software update?

You can have the controller reprogrammed to get you more speed. If you have a 48v S4 you're looking at 24-25mph tops.

Do I have to take it somewhere or can I do it myself?

It takes someone that knows how to do it plus a programming station. Where do you live?
