Default Source for electric brake

Good morning all,
Well, it appears I need a new electric brake on my 2017 RXV. It's original I am sure. Over the last few days, the key switch wouldn't always release the brake. After a few cycles of switching the key on and off it would ultimately release. Well, last night while on a ride the brake decided to lock-up while I was heading down the road.
Tow-Mode/Run Mode switch didn't work, so I followed the EMERGENCY emergency procedures printed under the control panel to get it into tow mode. Anyway, I got it home and will be replacing the brake. My question is, what is the best place you guys have found to buy one?
EZGO is asking $414.45.

Thanks for your feedback.

With the OEM brake you'd save $ 80 at Countrycat or going the gamble route with an aftermarket brake. I'd remove the brake and take it apart. Check for any damage, and if nothing broken, clean it incl. the 3 bolts, measure the coil resistance (~ 25 ohms) and reassemble it. The unexpected brake lock up won't come by the brake itself and even with a new one that could happen again.

Good copy on country cat for an OEM unit.
Is it possible my solenoid is bad?
I switch the key from off to either R or F and I do hear the audible CLICK of the machine going through its various tests.

Enclosed the Curtis Troubleshooting Guide, much Info, solenoid test included:

Can't say if it's the solenoid but, when these thing is failing while in run, it would cause the ebrake to engage.

Don't know if a 2017 RXV has a plug connection for the brake...my 2009 RXV had similar problems till I discovered the plug was not making contact intermittently when plugged in..I removed the plug ...bent the contact in the plug in a little ...no more problems

Well I found my issue…..
This morning while I was preparing to plug the 1,2,3,4 wires back into their factory configuration, I noticed an entire post of my solenoid had come disconnected from the main body. Yep. I think that would do it.
So. Follow-up question. Replace with the exact same trombetta 684-4841-012-26 or is there a preferred replacement?

Interesting. I’m always an OEM guy.
The part number on the unit (684-4841-012-26) does not show up through Ezgo.
Country Cat identifies a trombetta 48v solenoid when I enter the ezgo part number and everything is the same but the original unit shows 7 amps and the new Country Cat unit shows 5 amps. (684-451-022-1
