Re: yet another issue
36.5v under load is okay. What we know=
battery pack is never below 36v and the controller out put is never above 26v. Check the pot output. disconnect the 2 wires from the controller plug a test lead in each wire end. Set meter to 20k ohms depress the peddle and tell me what readings you get ... do it a couple of times. |

Re: yet another issue
If you are talking about the throttle 0-5k sensor, I have done that already. Starts out at 0K and slowly rises up with the depression of the peddle to 6.2K. I know it's only suppose to go to 5K but everyone has told me it's okay for it to rise up a little more that that.

Re: yet another issue
Yep, well everything points to a bad controller. Let me know if I can help.

Re: yet another issue
I have been following the thread and I concur with Scotty, you have a bad controller in there. If you talk to Scotty I am sure he can assist with getting you a new one.

Re: yet another issue
In the sticky labeled "Electric EZGO golf cart wiring diagrams", the first wiring schematic that comes up looks identical to my setup with the exception of the wires that go to the controller. There is only one wire to the B+. I see pack + hitting the solenoid but not leaving the solenoid going anywhere. My wiring has it leaving the solenoid and hitting the B+ of the controller. I want to make sure everything is as it should be if I am going to drop in another controller. First one cost me $280 and half this weekend.
Thanks... |

Re: yet another issue
wait, you have pack voltage on one post of the Solenoid but not on the other?

Re: yet another issue
No no.... I wish that was the case...
I meant, on the wiring diagram. I see the pack + connecting to the solenoid but I don't see a wire leaving the solenoid connecting to the controller. |

Re: yet another issue
Your wiring sounds correct. You have power between controller B+ and B- when you push the gas?

Re: yet another issue
I do. My confusion came when I saw on the wiring diagram, two wires at the A2 on the controller.(Which I have) and only one wire to the B+. (I have two wires connected there.) One going to the A1 on the motor and the other comes from the solenoid out post.
