96 TXT Parking Brake
Parking Brake will not stay down. Any ideas on how to fix it

Your hill brake plate is probably worn out where the pedal catches on to it.

The is a little piece of flat steel stock that the hill brake latches on to.... unbolt it, flip it over and rebolt it down. Presto chango, you have a working parking brake again (unless of course someone has already done this "fix" in which case you would need to purchase a new hill brake catch plate)
