Default Battery Charger Question

Ok, I'm a newbie to all of this.....I have 2 older (2002) ez go golf carts, and both of these have the large Power Wise charger. Now I have a Series 2+2, and it has a small charger with it. What is the difference in these 2 chargers? I will be leaving this cart at the lake for one and two weeks at a time, should I leave charger plugged in?

Description of the "small" charger would be helpful for anyone trying to respond. - RAY

PS-The big Powerwise chargers are great chargers, be glad you have them.

Sorry! I think it is the QE charger. It stores in the battery compartment under the seat.

the "big" powerwise is a better charger than teh Qe. Reason being the "big" charger can be rebuilt, the QE chareger is a throw awye charger.

The "big" charger will not turn itself back on after it cuts off unles the cart is unplugged or power is cycled to the charger

The QE charger is supposed to cycle on/off depending on what the cart needs. Now i have never tried this, so i can'tt say for certain it works as designed.

IMO the QE charger is JUNK. I have had more bad new ones than good ones.

The QE chargers do "Trickle charge" after it does the initial charge. After it charges it acts as a battery tender.

The QE charger shouldn't have a problem as long as you are leaving the seat open while charging to prevent overheating

Thanks, I think this charger will be better for the lake since it does a trickle charge.
