what would keep the relay from even clicking? bad Relay and or?

I meant solenoid. no sound from anything.. Ideas plz?

Well, I'm getting a FNR from a member here to try on this cart.. I wont give up, I now have two headaches to feed, but I'm learning a little along the way. Thanks for any advise

I would throughly check everything, make sure your new f&r board has the necessary copper contacts and theyvslide smoothly. Also, check out your resistor coils to evaulate their current condition.
If you had smoke puff up, then s wire wasnt instslled in a correct location and may have received too much and burned something up.
my general thumb on any cart
-find correct wiring diagram for your model
-take pictures of current setup
-remove all power wires and start fresh.

Thats good advise shidasko2, I intend on following it. I think you nailed it , 1st find the correct wiring diagram before I connect anything. I'm gonna send some pics as soon as I get back in it. Thank you for your comments.

Johnnie, I have wiring issues on a 1992 ezgo cart, but it is not a resistor cart. Can you help?
