Yamaha G8 carb. linkage.
Back to working on my G8. It doesn't want to run unless its fully choked. What do you guys think. Seems to be a lot of slack in the throttle cable. Any one happen to have a picture of how the cables should look ?

Re: Yamaha G8 carb. linkage.
Something funky going on with that clevis peice at the carb, someone else has drilled it to work in some other configuration. You need to operate the pedal to see how much throttle movement you get at the carb. Looks like an adjustment at the governor area may be in order to get the cables moving like they should.
