cleaning a fuel pump?
I have a standard fuel pump on my 1200 workhorse and was wondering about cleaning the fuel pump? I opened it up last night because she was starving for fuel. A little bit of varnish was in here as expected. With the diaphragms in there I cant use certain chemicals. Don't want to use a lot of compessed air and rip them either, What would you do?

Re: cleaning a fuel pump?
Probably order the repair kit and then drop the pump into a carb cleaner bucket for a bit. Blow it all out and install the new diaphragms.
