Default 1983 marathon 3 wheel build

So i got this 83 EZGO marathon 3 wheeler from my dad. He said it had been sitting for 17 or so years and said all it needed was the generator/starter rebuilt. So i traded him some work for this cart. I (hopefully) will maintain this thread and update it as the cart is built (also my friend, Noah will be helping me through this)

Sitting for 17 years means it will need more than a starter. The entire fuel system will need to be cleaned. The carburetor will need to be taken apart, and every hole poked with a wire. Most likely a new fuel pump, and crankshaft seals too.

You should also take the spark plug out, and spray a good amount of penetrating oil in there to get the rings loosened up. Let it soak for a while before you even attempt to start it.
The voltage regulator has a double set of points in it. There's a good chance that they are corroded too.

Heres a picture with noah on it. Since then i made some progress on it. Took some body parts off, removed rubber seal/bumper things. and freed up the piston and cleaned carb.
